2013年製のJ-45カスタムです。ノーマルのJ-45はサイド＆バックがマホガニーですが、本器はローズウッドを使用した上位機種です。外観もヘッドやブリッジ、ポジションマーク、サウンドホールにアバロン貝のインレイを埋め込んだ豪華仕様。また、ロッドカバーにCustomの刻印、ピックガードはファイヤーストライプ、トップのバインディングはヘリンボーンとなっており、精悍なルックスを誇ります。2017年にはモデルチェンジされ、ヘッドのインレイが花柄からクラウンに、指板材がローズウッドからリッチライトに変更など実質グレードダウンされました。本器の仕様は2013年頃～2016年までのわずか数年間しか作られていないため、市場にほとんど出回らないレアモデルです。稀に出てもくらいの相場が付きます。
ローズウッドはマホガニーと比べて硬度と重量のある材なので、低音が締まった深みのあるサウンドになります。マホガニーのカラッとした明るさと比べると若干ダークな音色です。ズドンと響く低音と芯のある高音、長いサステインをもち、ストロークのみならずアルペジオやフィンガー、ソロギターにも使えるJ-45です。弦高もソロギターに使えるくらい低めにセットアップしています。L.R.BaggsのELEMENT ACTIVEピックアップを搭載しており、ライブでも即戦力です。サウンドホールでボリュームコントロールが可能です。
【状態】外観はスリキズやボディ裏に軽いスタンド焼けなど使用感がやや見られますが、割れなどの大きなダメージはありません。ネックはほぼストレートで、トラスロッドも余裕があります。フレットはローポジションにやや減りが見られますが概ね8割程度残っており、ビビりや音詰まりもなく演奏性良好です。弦高は12フレット上で6弦2.2mm／1弦1.8mmと弾きやすく調整されており、サドルの高さも十分余裕が残っています。電装系も正常です。ネックジョイント部にストラップピン増設あり。
